Happy Birthday to ME!

Today it is my Birthday! I am now 26 years old. We went to watch AJ bowl this morning, then went to Ihop for lunch. Well it didnt work out we got our table and sat and then nobody served us. They served 3 other tables that got their after us and i said if they do 1 more before us we are leaving and sure enough they did. I told the Hostess the service sucks, nobody served us. So we went to Denny's instead and it was delicious. We then went to the mall and just walked around did a little Christmas shopping and then went to Circuit City to exchange our TV. We are getting ready now to go out for dinner with Jeremy and Cathy and a few of their Friends. So Happy Birthday to ME!

Aj is 9!!

So this past weekend Aj celebrated his 9th Birthday on December 6. I can beleive how old he is. On Saturday the 6th we started out with bolwing and I think he got like and 85, then we ran some errands like getting his cake, going to party city, then soccer and they won!! Then we came home and chilled for a while then went to craigs cruisers with friends. He had a blast driving go karts and playing laser tag!


On Sunday morning we went to Rockford to cut our Christmas tree down. Friends Andy, Jamie, Katelyn and Noah went too. We were there for like 3 hours finding a tree. Then we had to come and home and get ready for his party! He had an awesome cake(soccer Ball) and got lots of cool presents. Then we put up our Christmas tree when everyone left.

Hunter Alan Wright

Ok so baby Wright has a name and it is Hunter Alan. He is doing very well. Mom and baby came home on Sunday and were doing ok. Yesterday was a bit ruff for everyone but today is better. He slept 4-5 hours last night and then ate at 6:30am and slept until 10am. He had his first doctor appt today at 11am and he is doing just great. 10lbs 6oz. He goes back in 2 weeks. here are his hopsital pictures...and if you cant tell dad is a Tigers fan!! Go Tigers!

Congratulations to my friends Amber and Josh who had their little(or Big) boy today at 1:24pm. He weighed in at 10lbs 15oz and was 23 1\2in long! Mom and baby are both doing well. The baby is yet to be named, they cant decide what name to pick. I am going to visit them tonight and will take lots of pictures and then will post them. Congratulations Josh and Amber and sister Alicyn and brothers Taylor and Nathaniel!

Fish Ladder

After going to klackel orchard on saturday october 11 we went to the fish ladder, we didnt see much fish jumping but there were lots of guys fishing. Before we left we took a few pictures of ourselves and here is one.

Klackel Orchard

Well on Saturday October 11, 2008 our family went with the Wright family to Klackel Orchards in Greenville, usually the Spada family goes with us but they moved to Texas after we went last year. It wasn't the same without them.


We got there right as they opened so it wasnt very busy yet. We rode the enchanted pumpkin wagon ride thing, looked at the animals, played on the toys, picked apples and tried to find pumpkins. The pumpkins this year were not very good they were all dented and covered in stink bugs. So we all left without pumpkins. It was nice and cool when we got there but when we left it had warmed up big time. I would say temperature wise this has been the best year so far.

Football is over :(

AJ enjoyed playing football so much this year. He was all into it and enjoyed going to practice and the Games. I think it helped that they did so well too. They won 4 of thier games and lost 2. The 2 games that they lost they played in the pouring rain, it was fun for them to play in it but it sucked for us who had to sit in it. Well here are a few pictures from his Football season.

Our 1 Year Anniversary!!

I can't believe that it has been a year already! Time flies by so fast. I remember the day like it was yesterday, the weather coperated, the pictures went great, food was awesome and the party was sweet! I couldn't have asked for a better day with a better person! Oh and all of you for being there too...! I am in Love with the love of my life! If it wasn't for all of you to come and celebrate this joyous time with us, I dont know how we could have done it. Camping in Grand Haven

so this past weekend we went camping at Campers Paradise in Grand Haven, we had lots of fun. We drove the strip Friday night then walked part of the boardwalk. Mike wanted to see where he had to go in the morning for his charter fishing trip. Saturday morning the alarm goes off at 4:45 so mike could get up and get ready to go fishing. He got up and then I was up b\c you can hear everything when your in a camper. He left at 5:20 and I went back to sleep. When Aj and I woke up we just hung out and got dressed around 11:30 mike called to tell us he was heading back to shore so we went and meet them up there and seen the fish they caught. Aj and Mike posed for a picture with the fish Mike caught, he caught the biggest out of the 5 guys(all from his work).
Later in the afternoon mikes friends andy and darren came with our seadoos and their girlfriends and kids. so then we went to the beach and hung out which was very relaxing. Mike needed something to do to entertain himself while andy and darren were on the seadoos so he made a sandcastle.
nice one huh? Then we headed back to our camper to hang out and cook up some food as we turned onto the drive to the campground aj and Kaitlyn spotted out this deer. so we stopped and watched it and we were talking and it didnt move or anything until they started yelling at it.
All in All we had a great time!

Good Bye Chevy Venture...Hello GMC Envoy!!

So here we go as you may all know the transmission in the van went and was not worth getting it fixed, they wanted more then the van was worth. We decided to stay away from the mini-van and look at SUV's. Dont get us wrong we loved our mini-van and we were planning on keeping it forever! We first drove a Trailblazer and it was ok. It drove a little harder then the envoy and didnt look as "pretty". We then drove an Envoy and loved it, but it was out of our price range and had leather which i didn't want. We found a few on Craigslist and drove those too. One was really nice but they had it priced a little higher, it looked exactly like ours now and ours was less $$$ and less miles. So Todd Wenzel in Hudsonville took our information and what we were looking for in a SUV and found one the same week at an auction. We drove it the next week, mike took it to work and looked it over up and down forward and backwards. We loved it!! So they took our van as a trade in and gave us the Envoy out the door at under our asking price! We love it and mike said he would even buy another one if he had too!!

What a Crazy Weekend, Again!

So this was suppossed to be a fun weekend go up north to Leroy and camp and watch mike play softball. It started out great driving along Aj and Bella asleep me and mike just talking to each other and all of a sudden mike goes oh crap and slows down I had no idea what was wrong maybe something in the road and he goes to the shoulder and hits those annoying loud things in the road and wakes everyone up and says I think the feul pump went out. He tried to start it back up no luck pops the hood messes around under there goes under the truck and bangs on the gas tank(and gets a great muffler burn on his inner upper left arm while being oh so careful not to touch it because he knew it was hot) and still no luck. We call friends to see if they were on their way up and they said no they werent going til the morning. so we called mikes mom and stepdad and asked if they wanted to go for a ride. He says I thought you were camping I said well we are suppossed to be but the feul pump went out, and he laughed and laughed(because we are having the worst luck if you didnt know). He said oh ok . After about 2 hours of sitting there they made it hooked their truck and trailer to mikes truck and trailer and cut accross the highway to go to the ludington exit. We got the truck on the trailer with the help of some rednecks and their wench:) and then hooked their truck to our camper and pulled the camper to our camground(we were only 2 exits away), parked the camper then went back for the truck. Hooked the truck on the trailer to their truck and headed home. We got home at 2:40 and up at 6:45 to start working on it. While taking gas tank off other rusted parts broke so it costed more to fix then wanted put by 2:00 or 2:30 it was fixed so we went home showered and headed up north. Mike missed both games on Saturday so we just set up camp. They played 2 games sunday won and lost so they were done and we packed up camp and headed home! Sounds like great fun, huh?

We will miss you Jeremy, Cathy, Austin, Alexus and Mackenzie!!

So last night was the night that jeremy and cathy and family headed on their way to their new home in Dallas Texas. We went to visit them last night and say goodbye to them. I began to cry saying goodbye and giving them all hugs! I told Mackenzie I loved her and she leaned in and gave me a kiss and a hug without me asking. I set her down and said goodbye, she followed me and cried which made it all harder for me. I love them all so much i didnt want to let any of them go. We didnt get to personaly say goodbye to jeremy because he was picking up their truck. We want him to know that we wish the best of luck with his work in Texas and will miss him. Even thinking of it brings tears to my eyes. I told mike today that maybe when we have another long weekend off we might have to go and visit. We Love you and Miss you!!!!

Damn Vehicles!!!

So yesterday we were on our way to Mike's moms house for a great day filled with lots of fun! Then the van started to act up on the way over there and we knew it was the transmission again. When we first bought the van 3 1/2 years ago we had some transmission work done to it at mikes work. A few months back it acted up to but then it just went away so we went on our way too! So we hung out at Mike's moms for a few hours then he took the van for a drive and said now its fine. So we headed home around 10:30 last night going good then all of a sudden it acted up again. So now we knew it had to be fixed. Mike drove it took work this morning and it drove fine but the check engine light was still on so as soon as he got to work his mechanic hooked it up to the scanner and sure enough transmisson. So mike called me at his morning break to let me know and i said it had to be fixed he gave me and estimate and I said good thing we didnt go buy tires like we were going to. Then I talked to mike on his lunch break and he said well the mechanic said now its going to cost a few hundred more then what they said the first time, Crap!! With the Holiday coming up who knows when it will be done. So mike will have a loner car tonight hopefully then we are renting one Wednesday to Friday or Saturday. We were suppossed to take the van to Detroit and we dont want to take the truck, way to much gas, so we will have a nice car to bring, the only bad thing is there are no Convertables left :( So that is how my lovely week has begun, hopefully it cant get any worse.

It's the Weekend

So the week is over and I cannot believe that June is almost done! Tonight we may be going over to the Hudsonville Fairgrounds for the offroad derby! Tomorrow is a Big Day, we are having a good bye or good luck or whatever you want to call it party for Jeremy and Cathy and their family. They are leaving on July 10 to move to Texas :( Jeremy has taken a Job transfer there and we are sad to se them leave. Good Luck and God Bless your Family!!

Happy Fathers Day!

So we had a great weekend. Yesterday was mikes bday and we went to the tigers game! they won 12-7! we hit the oulet mall on the way home and then went out for dinner. Today we woke up and got the seadoos running then went out to gun lake to see mikes dad and go riding. The rain held off for us and it ended up being nice out. we all rode until we got tired and then headed home! I will post tigers picture later. Happy Fathers Day Everyone!

bella's new dew!

well today was the day that bella had to go in for grooming, she was so matted and tangley that there was no choice but to shave her, i felt horrible. I almost cried when i went to pick her up today. I felt so bad. They say it was probably because we made her wear a shirt for like 3 or 4 days to cover her stitches and the hair all rubbed and got matted. I felt bad so she will never where a shirt again. She looks so small and skinny now. I felt like everyone was laughing at her so i carried her out of petsmart so people couldnt see her. Sorry Bella.

New Pictures

hey everyone, hope all are doing well and survived the huge storms we had. We didn't do a whole lot this weekend. Mike was in Potterville playing softball and it got canceled as they were playing for their postions first through fourth. Aj had a game and lost to a team they should not have lost to. Then Aj and I spent the afternoon at the mall. Sunday we had to help get the water out of mikes grandma's basement then at lunch at mikes moms house. we took their mower and roller home to roll our hard then the rain came again. It didnt rain long and we got the yard rolled. I have a Picture of the moth we let go. It is called a Cecropia Moth, north america's largest moth which it was. It took awhile before it flew away then went to the neighbors and sat in their tree. I went online to read about it again and it said they fly at night so they would explain why it didnt fly right away and then sat in their tree for hours. How could I forget to tell all, Aj got his haircut now that he has been waiting all year for. He has a mohawk, and a blue one(only colored gel stuff, washes out). Hope everyone has a great week!

Hope Everyone Had A Great Weekend

hello all, the weekend is coming to an end. We have accomplished many things. From our to do list we installed new lights in hallway, breezeway, doorways, we also finished the sink plumbing downstairs and hung the mirror up down there, we hung aj's pictures on his wall finally, we finished the railing on the deck, picked up the seadoos and a few other odd and ends. Saturday Aj won his baseball game! In the evening, jeremy(mikes brother) and his wife Cathy and their daughter Mackenzie cam over. We grilled out and just hung out, I can also say I think the guys had a little to much to drink(mike...). Sunday we finished more of our list and went out to lucnh at Fridays, yummy! And Aj's caterpillar that we caught last year just emereged from the cacoon today. It is north america's largest moth its like 5 or 6 inches. I will post those later, right now I have a picture of what it looked like when we got it as a caterpillar. Well I need to get to bed so Have a Great Week everyone!!

Poor Bella :(

Today is the day, Bella was brought to the vet at 7:30 this morning by mike to get fixed. I'm sorry Bella! We couldnt decide to do it or to breed her. We said she is such a family dog and we love her the way she is so why risk having her go through puppies, it may change her attitude and what not and the doctor says once they go into heat they have more health problems later on. So I hope we made the right decision. I havn't called the vet yet to see how she was doing i will in about an hour or so.
Our big plans for the weekend, finish everything we have started. That means the molding in the kitchen, the basement bathroom, Aj's room, The yard(needs mulch), new light fixtures, the railing on the deck and who knows I may come up with more. I hope we can get it all finished!

Third Place

Well I hope everyone had a great weekend! We had a lot of fun camping in Gladwin. Mike's softball team did awesome they got third place out of like 20 teams! We all got burnt, didnt think of sunscreen until it was already to late. Aj made friends up there so he had lots of kids to play with and I could sit back and enjoy watching the games. We came home Sunday night and spent yesterday sleeping in, yard work, washing the van truck and camper, took all the garage sale stuff to goodwill(I made $35).Today we have to plant flowers.

It's Over

Finally the garage sale is over. I decided to close it today at 11 because i only had 2 people and their was a parade put on by hudsonville christian so i watched the parade indstead! I think I only made $35 or so but total sales of everyone was about $60 not bad for one day, it was more then we started with. Now I have to pack and get ready to go camping. We are leaving tonight to go to Gladwin(mike has to play softball there) and will return sunday MAYBE monday. So I hope everyone has a great Holiday weekend!!

Garage Sale

So tomorrow is the start of my garage sale, I hope to make lots of money. I am going to buys all day and all night tonight getting ready and setting up for the big day! Feel Free to all to come over and buy all of my crap! Cant wait to see you all there :)

Hello everyone! I hope everybody had a great weekend. Friday AJ and I went bowling for the mother son bowling night that his school put on, it was fun. I got the highest score on my table so I won a red geranium. I got a 108 and then on the goofy game(bowling with eyes closed, backwards, granny style etc.) I got a 94! not bad. Saturday Aj had a baseball game and lost to the team they lost to on there very first game day, so now they have lost 2 times. then we went to mikes moms house to work on Mikes friends car it was only suppossed to take an hour and a half and it turned out to be a nine hour job. We got home at 11:30 pm. On Sunday we went to CountrySide Greenhouse and got some flowers for our yard but i have yet to plant them. We had so many errands to run yesterday it was crazy. We didnt get home until 7:30 then we were so tired so we all got pj's on on chilled. AJ has a baseball game tonight and we have to bring the snack. We are going camping on Friday to Gladwin because Mike has softball tourny's there. Well thats about all!

Isnt this just the coolest thing ever, sorry I am new at this. My sister in law has a blog and I have decided to create one of my own. Well I have been sick for a week now, trying to get over it but it is not over me. Now Austin is coming down with it. The stuffy nose, sore throat, chest congestion, cough yuck! Austin has a baseball game tonight we will see if he feels well enough to go. His team is doing awesome. They lost their first game and have won the past 6 games!!
